Inspiration

Over the past months, educators have identified an opportunity to raise awareness of industry certifications embedded intro traditional curriculum as a modern approach to higher education and training. A complementary approach to the traditional university pathway that gets students to work faster and affordably. Could be included as part of the workforce education initiatives the State of Florida have launched.

What it does

CertHero incentivizes citizens with MIA to get industry certifications of the topmost demanded platforms, technologies and programming languages (facebook, salesforce, google, amazon, solidity, clarity, ...) to help Miami recruit highly skilled workers to fill needed positions and strengthen Florida’s economic base.

It also creates an NFT for each account with the certifications profile that the person has in Linkedin and allows that person with the NFT unlock job opportunities and with the MIA access to personalized educational tracks.

• Citizens create accounts (in their Wallet - Hiro Wallet).
• Citizens login to the platform using their wallet.
• Citizens connect their Linkedin account and extract all their industry certifications.
• The Platform does an evaluation of the certifications, calculates a MIA payout and transfers the amount calculated into the citizens wallet.
• The platform creates an NFT with a snapshot of the certifications profile.
• Citizen interacts with job offers and with courses unlocked by the NFT and the MIA.

• Funds - Pitch the City of Miami for support (Miami Coin Website. The city of Miami can elect to use its growing crypto treasury to benefit the city and its constituents)
