Inspiration

As students, throughout our highschool careers, we dealt with a common struggle of not possessing the ability to discover efficient volunteer opportunities among our communities. Because of this, we added necessary instructions such as information regarding each of the organizations and their causes, guiding users to strict success.

What it does

It provides all the volunteering opportunities that the user may want in their area.

How we built it

we used Javascript and BitHub.

Challenges we ran into

The map part was pretty difficult, as we were not used to using such technology.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The homepage looks aesthetically pleasing and works well.

What we learned

What's next for CharityCompass

We might be able to go worldwide and find smaller organizations in those countries other than the US.
