Inspiration
As Arlington residents, we often struggled to find essential information—like post office locations or customer service numbers—quickly and easily. Since we’re tech-savvy, we realized that older residents might face an even bigger challenge. That’s why we decided to build a one-stop solution for all Arlington-related queries.
What It Does
ChatArlington is a comprehensive information hub for everything related to Arlington, from the location of AT&T Stadium to the customer service number of the local county tax office. Instead of wasting time jumping between multiple websites, users can find everything they need in one place—saving them thousands of Google searches.
How We Built It
We developed ChatArlington using Next.js and Gemini AI for intelligent query handling. Integrating Gemini into our environment variables was initially tricky, but we resolved it quickly.

We built a fully functional platform that makes life easier for Arlington residents. With all essential information just a tap away, we’ve created a game-changing resource that brings convenience to the entire community.
What We Learned
Through this project, we gained valuable experience in implementing Gemini AI and integrating it into a web development environment.
What's Next for ChatArlington
We plan to expand by developing a mobile app, making ChatArlington even more accessible for users on the go.
