Chef-IR

Inspiration

We wanted to pursue the wildcard challenge for FLIR and hopefully win!

What it does

Allows a user to capture the temperature of food he/she is cooking and compares it to data we collected of ideal cooking temperatures.

How we built it

It was built in xcode using the swift language and the FLIR SDK

Challenges we ran into

Understanding and utilizing the FLIR SDK

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing the orginal goal for the app plus adding a few more things of which we were able to fully finish unfortunately.

What we learned

We learned more about xcode and how to use it as well as how to create apps for FLIR and personally I learned to use photophop for some of the graphics.

What's next for Chef-IR

Hopefully we can further develop the app and create a great tool for people to use and enjoy!
