A first-project to get my feet wet and learn more in the data and tech field by solving a real-life problem.
What it does
Indexes the resume to make the profiles searchable with ranks based on search parameters.
How to build it
- Load documents into Azure Storage (sample PDF data stored in ADLS2)
- Index the documents using Azure Cognitive Search with enriched skillset
- Create a search app
Challenges we ran into
- Understanding which Azure services could be used and how they can be used together
- Cost-control / estimation
- A steep learning curve for a beginner with low-code knowledge
