Inspiration: As the average attention span of the world's youth decreases, there is an increased need for content creators to post short and consumable content. We, at Clipify, make this very easy!
What it does: Using our technology we can convert long form content like youtube videos or podcasts into short clips for TikTok and Instagram Reels. Using Cohere, we created an ML model that can detect changes in topics in a a audio or video file. Our system creates individual clips for each topic. This makes it much easier for content creators on Youtube or podcasters to stay relevant in the fast-changing social media industry.
How we built it: Using Cohere we created a model that classifies transitionary sentences between two topics in a conversation. Using the model we can create time stamps of topic transitions and then snip the original file into smaller clips.
Challenges we ran into: Creating the ML model was a challenging aspect of this project
