Our inspiration was the thought that it would be to it would be cool to see different things about cities.

We built the back end in python and we used Google App Engine. The front end was html/css and some javascript.

I worked on the back end. I did most of the python coding and got the API's working for the project. I had some previous experience with similar projects, however, this was challenging because the APIs we needed had weird requirements for usage. I also did wrote most of the JSON needed to render the information we got from the APIs.

I worked on the front end with teammates. No previous programming experience but I learned a lot about html and gitHub.

I did all that I was able to do with my limited knowledge on the languages. My goal was mainly to research and learn and I thankfully found a team who allowed me to do it.

I worked mostly on the front-end, implementing Bootstrap into the HTML and CSS. However, I also added the "Give me a random location" feature to the web app, which required some (but very little) Python.
