Inspiration
At the time I was looking to buy my first car and I couldn't find the right website or app to look for it on. At this point I became tired of seeing useless apps so I thought of the idea of making my own.
What it does
This app allows users to upload their products and present them to other users so that others can take a look at the description and etc. As a result, the people who go look at items can eventually go to the location listed to see if the item is still available.
How I built it
I built this app using MIT App inventor to add screen components and to code so that the components and features work together to make everything possible
Challenges I ran into
I ran into a couple challenges one being that coding was not the way I wanted it. When you click on the find button on an item it is supposed to search it for you but the coding didn't work out for it. I tried changing it many times but no success.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I really like how I was able to program the app to work. It took some time to create this app but in the end it felt like it was worth it.
What I learned
I learned to connect the data inputted by the user to some type of database so that it can be presented in a list.
What's next for Close Offer
Next for Close Offer is the ability to use the find button to see where the product is by directly taking a link to the address. Another thing I hope to add is the option of inputting a way of communication so that the users can interact before going to check out the product.
