Inspiration

As students ourselves, we understand the challenges of applying for positions and becoming proficient in technical interviews. This inspired us to create SensAI to help others grow alongside us and master the art of technical interviews.

What it does

SensAI tests your knowledge using real-world questions from companies, ranging from easy to hard, depending on your level. It evaluates your performance based on three key criteria: efficiency, accuracy, and readability, ensuring well-rounded preparation.

How we built it

We built SensAI using a combination of ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Firebase Authentication to handle user logins. The core of our technical assessments and performance evaluations is powered by the OpenAI API.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered many challenges, particularly with integrating the OpenAI API into our software and optimizing the user interface for the best user experience. These hurdles tested both our technical and design skills.

Accomplishments that we’re proud of

We are proud of developing a robust and functional web app that will serve as a valuable tool for those in the tech field looking to enhance their technical interview skills. Completing this project is a huge milestone for us as a team.

What we learned

We learned that collaboration and perseverance truly pay off. Every challenge brought new insights, and solving them pushed us to think bigger. Facing obstacles only helped us grow stronger as a team and sharpen our problem-solving abilities.

What’s next for SensAI

Our next goal is to implement a virtual behavioral assessment system using Artificial Intelligence, leveraging video feedback to provide users with a comprehensive interview preparation experience that goes beyond technical questions.
