Inspiration

There are so many software applications everywhere that it's a pain to modify your resume every time. Input the job listing and your resume to get a personalized resume with a chosen template particularly for software engineers.

What it does

Takes your resume and caters it towards software positions. Select from four resume templates.

How we built it

• Flask frontend
• Python backend
• Replace words in LaTeX template with user inputs

Challenges we ran into

• Could not get frontend and backend to work well together
• Only two members code in Python

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Most of the functionality is there

What we learned

• LaTeX doesn't like the '&' symbol
• How to download files with Flask
