Inspiration

We like speedrunning videogames, that are simple to play but hard to master.

What it does

Fast paced action and simple design that requires hand-eye coordination and a way to achieve goals quicker.

How I built it

Unity physics engine, C# and a lot of coffee and sugar

Challenges I ran into

Programming the hook was hard at first, we got stuck for some hours. Deciding controls and adding controller support was also challenging.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Finishing a playable demo that represents the main idea we had.

What I learned

Listen to your teammates, learn to let go when something is out of my abilities.

What's next for ColorHooks

Improve visuals, add levels, fix bugs, add more precise and fluid movement, tight controls, add music and menus, and controller support
