Inspiration
I was watching a YouTuber I enjoy play MK1, and as I watched I wondered what the process was for deciding which buttons made up what combos. I ruminated over this for a bit, and eventually this lead me to the idea of a Combo Maker.
What it does
The Combo Maker allows the user to set an animation to be played based on a set of buttons clicked. The number of buttons must be at least 2 in order to be a combo. It will be easy to change out buttons and test different button combinations with this tool.
Challenges we ran into
I've never made a tool before, so I ran into a lot of problems in the learning process. Learning took a long time, so I was unable to implement many of the things I wanted to.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I learned so much! I learned about custom tools and custome blueprint elements with C++ code. I hope I get to apply this knowledge even more in the future.
What's next for Combo Editor
I want to make this tool! So I'll make efforts to do this in the future :)
