Inspiration

For many of our members, we've been in situations where a music artist we like is going on tour, but we don't know anyone who was going to the concert. As a result, we've missed out on opportunities to see our favorite artists because we didn't have anyone to go with. We decided to create Concert Unity to connect people with others in their area with shared music tastes, so you'll always have someone to go to a concert with.

What it does

Concert Unity connects people with others in their area with shared music tastes.

How we built it

We built the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We built the prototype in Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Initially, we wanted to implement a Spotify API to link a user's account to their Spotify account. However, this was too difficult and timely for us and eventually we had to scrap the idea.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a website under such a short time constrait.

What we learned

Have a game plan at the start of creating the project and know when it's time to move on.

What's next for Concert Unity

Hopefully, being able to implement the Spotify API correctly and creating more high-fidelty prototypes.
