Saving people with head injuries.

What it does

Uses machine learning and other technologies to detect collisions in hockey matches. In this way, we can potentially prevent long-term injuries, which can be very costly.

How we built it

Machine learning models in Python, Computer Vision and a basic web framework.

Challenges we ran into

Narrowing down our idea, limitations with hardware, gathering information on the topic, design etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing almost on time, and working well together.

Concussions are a serious issue in sports that could be prevented through emerging technologies.

What's next for Concusave

Gathering a larger database of collissions, and using AI to predict collisions and using other technologies to precisely detect where the collisions could impact hockey players bodies.
