Conduct Me

Inspiration

I really enjory programming, and I am also very passionate about music - I wanted to create something that combined the two.

What it does

Detects user hand motion via a leap motion detector, and uses that data to calculate proper timing to proceed to the next beat of the music

How I built it

I just sat down, and wrote most of it in one go in Java

Challenges I ran into

Silly formatting errors in the input

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I think this is a really cool and complex project, especially for a single person to do on their own

What I learned

Lots of stuff about the leap motion SDKs, and JavaFX

What's next for Conduct Me

Add more time signatures, more music, improve tracking capabilities, add ability to track the half-beat, and add the ability to play more complicated and unusual music
