🚀 Inspiration After decades of blueprinting skylines and pixel-pushing dashboards, I saw one glaring gap: No unified platform that blends project management with full-service construction support and builder discovery tools. From the chaos of site supervision to the confusion of finding reliable contractors, the industry was ripe for a digital renovation. Thus, Construo was born — not just a company, but a digital ecosystem for the construction galaxy.

🏢 Public Website -Company profile & mission -Service catalog (Interior, Civil, Electrical, etc.) -Tool pricing tiers -City-specific construction support -Blog & resources -Registration for Builders & Clients

📱 "Find Our Builder" App -Geolocation-based builder discovery -Apply for builder quotes -Reel-based ad & promotion hub -Measurement tools (like a digital Aruler)

🧱 Builder-Focused Construction Management Tool -Builder dashboard to manage multiple projects -Role assignment (Site Engineer, Architect, Safety Officer…) -Quote inbox -Project stage tracking -Built-in communication & approval flow

🛠 How we built it 🌐 Tech Stack -Frontend: React + Tailwind + Framer Motion + React Native (for mobile apps) -Backend: Node.js + Express + MongoDB + Redis -Auth & Role Access: Firebase Auth with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) -APIs: Geo-filtering (Mapbox), AR Measurement SDK, Payment Gateways

🧗 Challenges we ran into -Geo-filtering algorithms for builder discovery took fine-tuning. -Designing for multi-role interfaces (builders, supervisors, clients) without clutter. -Ensuring scalability for multiple cities with different service offerings. -Educating traditional builders about using a digital platform.

🏆 Accomplishments that we're proud of -Successfully created a unified portal for both service consumers and professional builders. -Developed a visual-first experience — reels, clean dashboards, no jargon. -Created a role-assignment UI that even your dadi could use (true story).

📚 What we learned -Builders are visual creatures — dashboards > data tables. -Clients want transparency — pricing & quotes need simplicity. -Cities have vastly different workflows — local customization is key. -Reels + location = 🔥 lead gen combo.

🔮 What's next for Construo -AI-powered role suggestions based on project type -Voice-based quote generation for on-site builders -Integration with IoT devices for real-time site updates -Multi-language support (starting with Hindi, Tamil, Telugu)
