Inspiration
I wanted to practice making an app as I just started learning a little bit ago, so I made this app as it is an interactive app I can make with my little bit of knowledge.
What it does
It simulates cooking, so you just select ingredients and tools for each step.
How I built it
I built it with a bunch of buttons and text and some images, all in xcode.
Challenges I ran into
My code was not the most efficient, so it was kind of difficult to navigate when there was too much code and I needed to find a certain area. I also tried to add sound but I haven't learned how to do that yet so I kind of abandoned that.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I've done projects like this before but over the course of a long time so it was cool to see it come together within a day or two of me working several hours in a row because I hadn't really done that before.
What I learned
Figure out how to submit at the beginning so I'm not scrambling at the end.
What's next for Cooking Simulator
I might fix up the ui and add sound to polish it a little because it looks too basic since I didn't have time to work on that.
