Inspiration
We were inspired by other platforms, but realized there wasn't a way to group them all in a single place especially one not user-driven.
What it does
Groups resources needed while self-studying a course(youtube, articles, quizzes) in a place for comprehensive review.
How we built it
We use node.js with a MongoDB database, as well as express in the backend,
Challenges we ran into
We ran into issues with react-flow, and integrating a database with a backend. We were also surprised with how time-consuming CSS was.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of doing our first hackathon, and getting more experience in front and backend development.
What we learned
We learned how to integrate a database into a backend, and communicate information to a frontend.
What's next for CourseConnected
We hope to continue development and one day open the project for global use.
