Inspiration

We, the co-founders, have both come across our fair share of ignorant people when it comes to COVID-19. There are people who seem to think it has passed, or that it doesn't affect their part of the world. We cannot stand for this any longer.

What it does

COV-IDentify immediately gives the user the status of COVID around the world. It also gives users the option to refresh and check repeatedly for updates.

How I built it

We used Javascript with JQuery.

Challenges I ran into

We first wanted to do a Google query for COVID cases, but faced a lot of difficulties integrating that feature. So, we decided to use The COVID Tracking Project's API.
