Inspiration
We're frustrated with Captchas, and we know you are too. When a certain corner feels like it could be part of a car when it's not, or vice versa, Captchas are repetitive, boring, and straight up suck.
What it does
Instead of clicking on rectangles and figuring out whether that one small corner counts as a Vehicle, we made our users play easy Minecraft mini games to authorize themselves.
How we built it
We use plain html. css. and javascript. We also used Flask for the backend, and 3.js for the 3d games.
Challenges we ran into
We pivoted to this idea 7 hours after working on a former idea.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our MVP works (for the most part.
What we learned
3.js is cool, Minecraft is fun, Captcha is outdated.
What's next for Craftcha
We lowkey might turn it into a Chrome extension
