Inspiration

While working in the finance industry, I realized that many CRM companies fail to tailor their onboarding experience when dealing with small to medium size corporations. For example, while sales force provides representatives that help onboard large corporations by answering questions on demand, smaller and medium size companies don't have the resources to pay for a representative, and thus oftentimes fail to adopt the CRM software due to pure confusion and a high barrier for adaptation.

What it does

CRM coach provides Customer Relationship Management (CRM) companies such as sales force to easily create a chatbot that can answer specific question to their tools. With only the documentation of the CRM tool, CRM coach enables the CRM company to easily deploy a chatbot that can answer most surface level questions, 24/7. This will reduce the barrier to CRM adaptation, as employees of the company adopting the CRM tool do not need to wait until a representative or higherup can answer their question regarding technicalities.

How we built it

CRM coach was built through the chatGPT API

Challenges we ran into

Ultimately, while we spent a lot of time attempting to utilize the ChatGPT API, our implementation was flawed and we were unable to create a product that satisfied our standards.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Through this experience, my team learned new technologies, on how to utilize the chatGPT API.

What we learned

Although we were unable to finish the product to the expectations we held ourselves to, we still were able to gain valuable experiences and lifelong friends through HackIllinois 2024.

What's next for CRM Coach

We hope to expand our team with members who are more knowledgeable with practical implementation. CRM tool onboarding for small to mid sized companies is a huge problem that many CRM companies are still struggling to solve, and it is a massive opportunity, the CRM for CRMs.
