Inspiration
As someone who uses investment apps such as Acorns and Robinhood, I found myself reluctant to invest in anything too big, because any losses were beyond the scope of what I was willing to lose. There had to be a way not only to be more self-assured in my investment but also have the ability to make smaller investments with a possibility of a higher payout, and thus, Crowd was born.
What it does
Crowd enables investors to invest small amounts (five dollars, ten dollars, etc.) as a crowd into stocks that they have voted on as a collective. For example, a group of people on the app may be interested in an investment into cryptocurrency. Crowd allows a group to invest significantly in something such as bitcoin, an investment they have all agreed upon and then make a significant investment.
