Inspiration

Crypto Bridge was inspired by the need for a seamless, cost-effective solution in the P2P lending market, particularly addressing the gap in cross-chain transactions. It leverages the robustness of Ethereum's NFT market and the efficiency of Layer 2 solutions like Polygon to revolutionize borrowing and lending in the blockchain space.

What it does

Crypto Bridge links Ethereum (Layer 1) for NFT collateral with Layer 2 platforms for loan transactions, offering a cheaper, faster lending process. It simplifies cross-chain interactions, making P2P lending accessible and efficient.

How we built it

The project was built using Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) for secure messaging across chains, combined with smart contracts for loan terms and factory management. Ethereum and Polygon networks were key platforms, utilizing Solidity and JavaScript for development.

Challenges we ran into

Major challenges included handling cross-chain message delays and gas cost limitations. Adapting to live-net testing and ensuring compatibility across different blockchain layers were significant hurdles.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully integrating L1 and L2 networks and creating a user-friendly platform for P2P lending are our key accomplishments. Overcoming technical challenges like gas limitations and interface pre-checks are noteworthy achievements
