Inspiration

The inspiration behind Goal Mate stemmed from a common struggle: not being able to fulfill goals set on our own. We realized that accountability is a powerful motivator, and by involving friends in our goal-setting process, we could increase our chances of success.

How We Built Goal Mate

The development of Goal Mate was a collaborative effort:

Coding: Farhan and I took charge of the coding aspect, bringing the technical foundation of the app to life. Ideation and Pitch: Munawar played a pivotal role in ideation and crafting the pitch, ensuring our vision was clear and compelling. Challenges

The path to creating Goal Mate was not without its challenges. The major hurdles we faced included:

Setting Up Xcode: Getting Xcode up and running efficiently proved to be more complex than anticipated, requiring troubleshooting and persistence. Integrating Dependencies: Seamlessly integrating various dependencies like firebase into our project was another significant challenge.

Despite these obstacles, our dedication to the project and belief in its potential kept us moving forward. Goal Mate is the product of our collective efforts and determination to help individuals achieve their goals through accountability and support.
