Inspiration
We've all been through the hassle of not having one key ingredient and having to go back to the grocery store to retrieve it. We wanted to create a micro-ecosystem where neighbors can lend each other ingredients instead.
What it does
The app let's you notify your neighbors when you're missing an ingredient, which it does by utilizing the Google Maps API. Neighbors who lend ingredients get points and neighbors who ask for ingredients lose points. This helps keep track of who's doing more sharing and who;s doing more taking.
How we built it
We used Java, XML, Android Studio and Google Maps API.
Challenges we ran into
Setting a timer on the ingredient screen that automatically goes to the Results screen and integrating Google Maps
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Whatever we've accomplished
