Inspiration
The protests around the world; in many countries, protests are oppressed by the government. We hoped to create a service in which
What it does
This is a website where people can search for and put their own protests onto. Users can create an account, look at other people's profiles, and sign up for various protests. They can also add their own.
How we built it
Hosted the files on Github. Searched up a lot on working with PHP, and uploaded the files while pushing them to Github.
Challenges we ran into
Coming up with the idea was challenging, but other than that there wasn't much besides bug fixes.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully implemented the login system using PHP, and having most if not all the pages completely done besides more advanced designing.
What we learned
Working with others on Github, using PHP, and how it works, along with some basic and a little advanced HTML and CSS.
What's next for :D.exe
If we were to continue work on the project, we'd try to add more features, in addition to making a better design for the site. We'd also try to make it more secure, so that it wouldn't be taken down easily. As for the individual members, we have plans to continue learning about web development, especially the back-end of it. We also want to continue our own studies in computer science/technology, whether that be at Tech or in college.
