Not many smart home system platforms available for people with disabilities.
What it does
Alerts user of any obstacle using sensors. Informs user through voice which burner plate is on when the stove is turned on. Alerts user when stove is left on.
How I built it
Using Harman-Kardon Android SDK, I built an android app that communicates with the raspberry-pi over home Wi-Fi network.
Challenges I ran into
The Harman-Kardon SDK was not very "developer-friendly" for new users.
