Inspiration

Charity is firmly anchored in our society - but it can often seems old and gray. Our mission is to bring charity into the 21st century and make it cool again! The internet was build on cat videos and clips of people doing fun stuff - we want to use this energy for doing good!.

What it does

You can post charities and people can back them with money. Half the money goes to charity and the other half goes to you - but you have to spend your half on other people's charities! That way you can do good twice with just a single donation: Improve your local community and social interaction and also improve communities in need around the world through the donation to organizations like Brot für die Welt, Unicef, WWF

Challenges We ran into

Some of us were unfamiliar with the Software stack, we also had to pivot our project some hours into the challenge, because our initial idea did not have the use case we thought it had.

Accomplishments that We Are proud of

We have a unique and fresh twist on charity! After we found our initial concept wanting, we were able to quickly come up with new ideas and pull the challenge together!
