Data the explorer!

Inspiration

“The goal is to turn data into information, and information into insight.” Data is driving businesses and it is important to have insights from data and know about correlations from different datasets.

What it does

Data the explorer! is a web app that helps users get a high-level overview of data sets. It acts as a data visualizer and summarizer. It also has the capabilities to show a correlation between multiple attributes from a dataset or even attributes from different datasets.

Datasets used

2 inter-related data sets - ETFs and mutual funds data from USA, from kaggle

How we built it

This project is built using python and streamlit!

Challenges we ran into

Making the various components for streamlit was hard.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing this project within the stipulated time period is something I am proud of

What we learned

Learned exploratory data analysis and how it can be done in a clean and efficient way, maximising the insights given to users
