De SchoolMate

Inspiration

As a team of college students we faced a lot of issues during our study as we needed a lots of resources which where spreaded across the internet. It was a hectic job to search the content resources and tools. Hence we got inspiration to start and work with this idea.

What it does

It brings all the resources which are required for a student on a single platform which were earlier distributed across the internet.

How we built it

We started our building this by brainstorming ideas. Then, we compiled and prepared our ideas towards a modern and a simplistic design. According to the designs, we distributed our work in the team and we started building it. We collected resources and in the period of two days we build this website.

Challenges we ran into

Our major challenge was our limited knowledge of advance technologies and frameworks. As the time was limited, collecting resources was indeed itself was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building this website in 2 days was itself a big accomplishment and working in a good competitive environment was a new opportunity to learn and grow ourselves.

What we learned

The biggest learnings were time and stress management, team work and coordination, understanding the weaknesses and strengths helped us to work for a bigger perspective. As a student we challenged ourselves to address big problems.

What's next for De SchoolMate

As we were building this application, we came across more ideas and features which we couldn't be able to add in this application because of the time constraint. We plan to optimize this application by adding more features, resolving bugs and rebuild this application from a hackathon version to an industrial version.
