Back in high school, I was an avid debater, always on the lookout for ways to sharpen my skills 🎯. The challenge? Lack of interactive tools for solo practice. That's when the spark for DebatePal 💡 was born – a platform for debaters like me to practice anytime, with a virtual, intelligent partner.

What it does 🚀

DebatePal isn't just a coach; it's your AI-powered debate partner 🤖. Just input a topic, present your arguments, and voila! DebatePal provides counter-arguments and constructive feedback. It even features a special chat section where you can engage in live 1-v-1 debates with your AI coach, making the practice as realistic and enriching as possible.

How we built it 🛠️

Embarking on the DebatePal journey, I dove into AWS PartyRock 🛠️, a new and exciting tool for me. It was all about blending AI-powered text generation to create an interactive, intelligent debate experience. Learning and integrating PartyRock's capabilities was a thrilling and enlightening adventure.

Navigating AWS PartyRock was like exploring uncharted territory 🌍. The main challenge was tailoring its AI to generate realistic, engaging debate interactions. Ensuring the responses were logical and insightful took some trial and error but was incredibly rewarding.
