Inspiration

Making unbiased decisions requires considering all possible scenarios. It is a proven fact that using all the data and facts at hand before making critical decisions is vital for effective decision-making. It's better to list out all possible scenarios on the canvas, and then discuss them with others.

What it does

Create decision trees using simple building blocks. We can understand the significance of this simple model from this HBR article. Decision trees have been used to make complex decisions in the most analytical and complete way possible.

How I built it

Using the Whiteboard confluence extension. The building blocks were very intuitive.

  • The square nodes show the decision which is under our control.
  • The circles show the events which are not under our control.
  • The green leaves show all the possible final outcomes.
  • The thickness of edges shows the likelihood of this event taking place.
