DigiPad

Inspiration

We wanted to help build a product that would help our friend's family business streamline the inventory management process.

What it does

It uses Square's Inventory API in order to automatically update available inventory once an order has been placed.

How we built it

We collaborated using Discord and GitHub in order to each contribute our own part to each of our own branches and discuss what role each person would play.

Challenges we ran into

Some of us were knew to the technologies that we decided to use, so we kind of had to learn as we were building.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that each of us got to work with software that we had never worked with before in order to successfully build a project that could help out a real business.

What we learned

We learned the importance of system design and how vital it is to account for problems we might run into during initial planning.

What's next for DigiPad

We hope that this product will help our friend's family business run more smoothly and allow for more restaurants to source their produce from their business.
