Inspiration
We wanted to build a utility that would help keep people safe and allow them to carry that sense of security with them wherever they went.
What it does
As a person in distress, you can quickly access the interface of Digital Flare from your phone and send a call for help with just the click of a button. People nearby will be alerted and will be able to help you from where they are.
How we built it
We used native Android tools to flesh out the idea at first but ended up converting it to a React Native app to cover cross-platform capabilities.
