Inspiration
Our inspiration for DinoGPT came from our fascination with both artificial intelligence and dinosaurs. We wanted to create a fun and interactive project that showcases the capabilities of AI and LLMs.
What it does
DinoGPT is an AI-powered application that generates text based on user input. Users can enter prompts or questions, and DinoGPT will provide creative and contextually relevant responses. It's like having a conversation with a dinosaur!
How we built it
We built DinoGPT using React for the frontend and integrating with OpenAI's GPT-3 model for natural language processing. The frontend is designed with Next.js for server-side rendering and react-three/fiber for the 3D dinosaur animations.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges we faced was fine-tuning the AI model to generate accurate and coherent responses. Additionally, integrating the 3D animations smoothly into the React application posed some technical hurdles.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of successfully implementing a seamless user experience where users can interact with both the AI-generated text and the dynamic 3D animations of the dinosaurs. Additionally, fine-tuning the AI model to generate engaging and contextually relevant responses was a significant achievement.
What we learned
Throughout the development of DinoGPT, we learned a lot about natural language processing, React development, and 3D animation integration.
What's next for DinoGPT
In the future, we plan to enhance DinoGPT by incorporating more advanced AI capabilities, such as sentiment analysis and context-aware responses. We also aim to expand the range of interactions with the 3D dinosaurs, making the user experience even more immersive.
