Inspiration

Knowledge is power, all to often minorities students struggle with how to finance college. Divercial gives them the knowledge to increase their financial freedom through knowledge about scholarships, credit cards, insurance, and investing.

How we built it

This is a simple static HTML website hosted on GitHub Pages.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the main challenges we ran into during the hackathon was with finding teammates that would assist us with fully fleshing out the projects. Additionally, we struggled to make the most of the 36 hours provided to make the application.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Overall despite the setbacks that we faced we are proud that we were able to finish the application on time, and make a functioning website in a weekend.

What's next for Divercial

What's next is to add more interactive and fun ways to get that information. Some ideas we have are interactive graphs showing how investing your money over time can lead to massive returns later.
