Inspiration
DNA ID is designed for you, as a human being to take control of your most identifying trait, your DNA. We have a core mission of helping medical research increase velocity of their clinical trials by gaining access to a larger research population for more conclusive results.
What it does
With a mobile user experience we are able to collect real world data from apple/google health and couple that with DNA data for research and analysis by the clinical research community.
How we built it
DNAID is built using react native and expo at its core. The infrastructure is based on a layer of Ethereum/IPFS/Infura
Challenges we ran into
Incentive structures are difficult to set up to keep people engaged.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have a working prototype that folks can use to upload and validate a DNA file while sharing it through an ethereum contract.
What's next for DNA ID
We are looking to build out a wider audience of DNA data contributors as well as build out the research community connections.
