The project captures the theme of “Past, Present, Future” by giving users the ability to freeze a piece of their present — through text, media, code, or personal files — and deliver it to the future. Time capsules have historically been used to bridge generations. In this digital version, the connection becomes even stronger: users can store songs, conversations, artworks, or projects representing their moment in time, ensuring that when the capsule “unseals,” the future experiences the past directly through preserved digital artifacts. The longer a capsule remains sealed, the more powerful its reflection of how technology, art, and communication evolve.
💡 Features Create, describe, and seal a digital time capsule. Upload and attach multiple file types — images, text files, PDFs, songs, playlists, code repositories, and webpage snapshots. Automatic file path storage in the database, with actual files hosted on the PHP server. Capsules can be filtered and displayed dynamically through database-driven rendering. Email reminders for capsule owners when their capsule is opened. Organized by categories, creation date, and unsealing date for browsing and discovery.
