Inspiration

Covid crises put public services under pressure and there was a clear need for new innovative e-government solutions. Building digital trust in the context of e-gov remains a challenge. Contribute to raising more public awareness about data privacy and personal information issues.

How we built it

Discover the existing proposals. Design and implement a prototype. Adopting the standards of SSI and meet its requirements. Integrate Digital Trust Protocol within our prototype.

Challenges we ran into

Keep the workflow simple and demonstrate how the Digital Trust Protocol could be adopted to work within a self-sovereign identity solution.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Set up a solution that provides citizens with a self-sovereign government-issued identity enabling them to fully control all aspects of their identity and share it in a trusted and self-reliant manner.

What we learned

We learned how OIDC and digital Trust standard protocol works. We learned more about W3C specifications.
