Inspiration

Our Inspiration was due to many qualified applicants not getting the jobs they apply for, especially applicants that are just starting off in the workforce. Many companies use things such as Keywords, ATS, search for experience, and hard interview questions that applicants aren't aware of. We wanted to create a way for users to be able to utilize their job potential by helping display it on their resume.

What it does

We created a hub where people having any of these issues can seek help. You can upload your resume to get scanned by the ATS system and also have a representative look over it and give feedback in real time. You can also attend workshops that will improve your skills that many companies are looking for and gives you more experience in the fields the user may be lacking in. We also have a interview section. It can provide users access to common questions found in certain field's interviews, but also gives the user to have a mock interview with a representative to improve your interview skills and help understand what a interview in that field is like.

How we built it

We utilized figma's interactive ability to create a working prototype.

Challenges we ran into

Time was a big issue, I wish I could have made a working webpage in time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Proud of the aesthetic and how much I could get done in figma to demonstrate what idea we wanted to achieve.

What we learned

While attempting HTML/CSS I was able to learn more about it and start to get the hang of it.

What's next for EaseIt

Next for EaseIt is to make this into a fully functioning web app, including with self scanning through the ATS for instant results. This idea would be best implemented into an existing job app like indeed, or jobs.com
