Inspiration

I wanted to know my environmental impact when I decide to walk instead of drive

What it does

This app calculates how much CO2 the user would've produced if they choose to drive

How we built it

This app was created using Swift and Swift UI

Challenges we ran into

Because I believe that it is crucial for the app to have a widget, I had to learn how to program the widget which difficult because of the time constraint and also the lack of resources available online

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm very proud of how the app turned out and that we were able to complete it on time

What we learned

I learned a lot about creating an app from start to finish

What's next for Eco Step

I want to total up the sum of all the CO2 prevented by all the users who used the app because it would be a fun feature to code and users would feel like they are part of a bigger community
