Inspiration

We want to change the buyer's experience in purchasing fashion items and accessories

What it does

We are creating an exclusive avatar for each user and changing the avatar according to the user`s purchases and suggesting the users new sets of clothes- based on his look(height, skin and hair colors, etc...).

How I built it

We built an Android app with java, running a Parse API backend. We had custom code written for the avatar and custom avatar appearals designed specificaly for items we found in ebay listings.

Challenges I ran into

We ran into a lot og bugs regarding the eBay API, eventually deciding to go without it in the first stage of the demo. We also had trouble designing a good avatar model that would fit well into the app and would be versatile enough to demonstrate the core of our app's Gamification techniques.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Working with code I never before worked with, and overcoming new and hard challenges with design and coding.

What I learned

The hackathon drives me into creating a big scale app that would normally take weeks, in a matter of two days.
