Inspiration
We wanted to educate future generations on problems that affect us and will continue to affect us in order to change the world for the better.
What it does
A simple sorting that intends to teach users as they play, but it will be expanded on in the future to contain more game formats and information that will be even more engaging and educational
How we built it
We used Java in the Eclipse IDE. We used the processing library mainly to help with the game. We used GitHub as a version control.
Challenges we ran into
Communication was an issue due to time zones. We also ran into the problem of figuring out how to display pop up prompts and images. Though they were challenges, we're glad we were able to overcome them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Managing to successfully implement our idea given the communication difficulties. Cooperating together on different aspects of the project.
What we learned
How to communicate to teammates well. In addition, we learned more Java and team planning.
What's next for Ever-cycling
In the future, we hope to expand the amount of game formats we have, the diversity of the information, the accessibility of the product for students, as well as the overall visual aesthetic of the product. We hope to be able expand this to be able to suggest potential programs and solutions specifically tailored to students and to use games to explain the different environments in different countries.
