Inspiration E-Waste has impacted many of our lives, increasing global warming and destruction to the environment.
What it does It uses AI to identify electronic components and informs the user on how he/she can repurpose and dispose of the component properly.
How we built it We built it using Python, Tensorflow for the AI Model, and Streamlit.
Challenges we ran into It was our first time ever implementing AI into a project before, and the time was very limited.
Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud of our final project because it has all the features we wanted.
What we learned We learned a lot about AI and how it works and how to use it in web development.
What's next for eWasteBeGone eWasteBeGone will be used on other electronic components and implement a map that shows where the nearest eWaste center is.
