EzSchool

Inspiration

Students and parents at my school were confused about the course selection process because of a rudimentary, disorderly and contradicting document that described the process. So I made a program that did the same but better.

What it does

Using a database the program filters through the list of courses using the specified criteria.

How we built it

I created a public website on bubble.io that takes data from a database and displays the results.

Challenges we ran into

The platform bubble.io is very finicky and is sometimes hard to work with so most of the issues came from weird or strange bugs in the platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of the fact that I created a fully working website that's interactive and useful to not only me but also everyone in my school.

What we learned

I learned a lot about web app development and integrating API's in bubble.io.

What's next for EzSchool

The end goal for EzSchool is to make a polished website that can do what it can now and more, such as evaluating a student's grade and recommending courses based of that and also integrating the website or program into genesis, the website that provides all of the resources for my school.
