Inspiration

We wanted to create something that could help us and others find out where their images are going and what they're used for.

What it does

It uses facial recognition to analyze photos and notify you of posts with you in the image.

How we built it

Using Kairo Facial Recognition Library, and creating a website that can compare and contain photos.

Challenges we ran into

Finding an API we could figure out how to use took like 7 hours.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting the Facial Recognition to work automatically with our gallery.

How to use APIs, facial recognition, and complex javascript functions.

What's next for FaceWhere?

Completing the additional software to search for your photos outside of our domain and recognizing fake profiles, bots, and malicious activity.
