Project Overview

Small-scale farmers play a crucial role in global food production, yet many face challenges due to limited access to resources and modern technologies and lose crop productivity. To address this, our project aims to leverage satellite data to provide valuable information to farmers, enabling them to enhance crop management, increase yields, and make informed decisions. The centerpiece of our initiative is the Android application called "FarmWell."

Monitoring Crop Health

FarmWell utilizes satellite imagery to evaluate crop health, identifying issues such as insect infestations or nutrient shortages through detailed analysis of satellite photos.

Weather Patterns

The application monitors local weather patterns in the farmer's area, providing real-time alerts to proactively plan and protect their crops.

Yield Estimation

Employing machine learning algorithms and leveraging past data, FarmWell forecasts prospective crop yields. This predictive capability aids farmers in better planning and resource allocation.

Crop Planning

AgriSat Insight, a component of FarmWell, analyzes satellite data and local climate circumstances to recommend optimal dates for planting and harvesting crops. This feature assists farmers in strategic decision-making.

Using Mandi-prices services, workers-finding service and means to buy seeds and equipment, farmers are brought closer to technology and hence can increase efficiency.

Sahay - The AI Bot

Introducing you "Sahay" who is a once stop solution to all your queries, it has the accesss to crucial data that will help farmers improve their farming efficiency and improve crop yeild.

How it Works

Farmers can plot their land virtually and easily access the insights provided by FarmWell through the user-friendly Android application. The integration of satellite data and machine learning techniques ensures accurate and timely information, empowering small-scale farmers to enhance their agricultural practices.
