Inspiration
I personally know how it feels like to be stressed out, and in the midst of the COVID pandemic, I knew that a lot of more people were probably stressed out, or confused about the sudden change from in-person learning to virtual learning, although it's already been about 6 months (however, it depends) since virtual learning started.
What it does
This webpage is meant to provide techniques and ideas for how to manage your time and organize your schoolwork. It gives tips on staying motivated, making plans, and staying organized.
How I built it
I used HTML code on codepen.io to create this webpage. I started out with a rough plan for the navigation bar at the side,
Challenges I ran into
I did not really want to do anything too difficult, which was why I chose this particular layout, but I still encountered some issues: 1.) The navigation bar at the side was not aligned well (in fact, it still isn't) 2.) Many of the pseudo-classes and pseudo-elements I used did not function 3.) Many elements did not inherit any particular styles from the parent element (or, whatever element that the particular section was contained in), like they were supposed to 4.) The navigation was not functioning very well, so I had to adapt 5.) There wasn't much to say about my particular topic
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I didn't do much to be proud of, and this webpage didn't really spawn any achievements, but I'm proud that I was able to do this, along with two other group projects, a lot of Zoom meetings, and other things I had to do and was still able to sort of finish everything.
What I learned
I learned that it takes some pretty hard work to create something even remotely decent, and I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into the websites we use today.
What's next for Feeling Overwhelmed in Class
I'll be working on some of the things included in the "Challenges I ran into" section, possibly.
