Inspiration

We were motivated to solve a problem related to finance, as that is something new that we as freshmen in college are handling.

What it does

It imports data from past transactions of your bank account. It then categorizes it: this should ideally be a pop up that asks you to manually assign it into a category while making a payment.

How we built it

We built the prototype using thunkable, an app development environment

Challenges we ran into

None of us have sufficient technical experience, so we were a little confused where we should start.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our idea as we think it's something we as college students could really use.

What we learned

We've learned to use Thunkable's environment. Although some of us were a little acquainted with it, we hadn't used it as much before.

What's next for Finpie

We have multiple ideas and versions ready. Unfortunately, we don't have enough technical expertise to match them, but we're planning on taking some courses to learn.
