Fitnomic

Inspiration

Many companies have a huge health and wellness budget that rarely gets used to its full potential. The major reason for this is lack of intrinsic motivation to participate. This was a major pain point for many people we talked to, and some of our team members who have experienced this firsthand!

What it does

Fitnomic aims to solve this problem by gamifying and providing rewards to users for their daily activity.

How we built it and Challenges we ran into

We built the app from scratch with React Native. Since we were fairly new to mobile development, this was a challenging, but rewarding experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are super proud of being able to come up with a minimal viable product, as well as coming up with an original UI/UX design in 24 hours!

What we learned

We learned lots about front-end development and the workflow of mobile development.
